3.6/5 Best Safe Score (how we score)
I picked the 354-01 for 2019-on Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 owners: a 16-gauge steel console safe from Tuffy that bolts in with minor drilling and holds a holstered compact pistol in over 400 cubic inches.

Who it's for
- Best for 2019-on Ram trucks in Best Truck Console Safe – 5 Picks for F-150, Ram, Silverado and Tundra: A Ram owner with the fixed floor console who wants a carry pistol or cash locked under the armrest; it skips Longhorn, Limited and TRX trims and consoles with sliding cup-holder trays, and it is the one pick that needs drilling.
What we like
- 16-gauge steel with 1/8 inch welded Pry-Guard parts
- A holstered S&W Shield Plus fits, per one owner
- Owners praise the fit and the clear instructions
What to know first
- Minor drilling into the console, the only pick here that needs it
- One owner traced a rattle over bumps to the lid

About this item
- Vehicle Compatibility - Compatible with 2019–2026 RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks equipped with the factory sliding tray center console.
- Sliding Tray Console ONLY - Designed exclusively for vehicles with a sliding tray center console. ❌ Does not fit 40/20/40 bench seats ❌ Does not fit non-console or jump seat configurations
- Trim-Level Exclusions - Not compatible with 1500 Classic, Limited, or Longhorn trims. Limited and Longhorn consoles use a deeper sliding tray that prevents rearward tray movement once a console safe is installed.
- Keyed Lock with Pry-Guard Security - Features a keyed lock and Tuffy Security Products’ exclusive Pry-Guard Security System, engineered to resist prying and forced entry.
- Installation Note – Drilling Required - Bolt-in installation requires drilling and tapping into the factory console for secure mounting. Not a no-drill application.
