3.7/5 Best Safe Score (how we score)
My pick when managers need till access but should never reach the drops: this all-steel depository safe from Mesa puts them behind two doors in 6.7 cubic feet.

Who it's for
- Best two-compartment in Best Drop Safe for Business – 5 Picks Matched to Your Cash Drops: For a bar or restaurant where shift managers handle change banks and only the owner opens the deposits; Mesa's own page lists no burglary or fire rating, and it needs a 9V battery.
What we like
- Two compartments: one takes drops, the other holds tills
- MSL500 lock: 1 manager and up to 5 user codes, 1-59 minute time delay
- Concealed emergency key and wrong-code penalty
What to know first
- B-rate appears only in dealer listings, not on Mesa's page
- 256 lb and 30 3/4 inches wide
